Kristen Anne Bell is an American actor and singer born in 1980. Her birthplace and childhood was in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier) and is an RN as well as Tom Bell, a television news director. She is the daughter of a Polish as is her father, who is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen discovered her talents in entertainment at an early stage of her life. She attended her audition in 1992 and was offered the role of Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell was signed by her mother as an agent when she was thirteen years old. Bell was later selected for newspapers ads as well as commercials for TV. In addition to learning in private classes in acting, she launched her career at that time. Bell played a small part that was not credited to her for her part in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School where she took part in musical and drama clubs. She was a part of Dorothy in the production for high school in The Wizard of Oz. Bell studied music theatre in the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell completed her studies in 2001, decided to leave her university studies to perform in the role of Becky in Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credits in Pootie Tang in 2001. However, her scene cut, and her only appearance is in the credits at the end. Bell made an appearance with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
