LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. He is referred to as King James and is considered to be one of the greatest basketball players of all time. James has been awarded four NBA championships and four NBA MVP Awards, 4 NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James added more points during the playoffs. He's had the second highest number of career points, and is seventh in career assists. James has been named an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times, and was named to be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. He has played in ten NBA Finals, the most ever by any player. James played eight times consecutively from 2011 to 2018. James has been selected for the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team. He became the first NBA player to score 10000 points and rebounds, as well as assists, in the year 2022. James was a student at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in his home town of Akron Ohio and was heavily in the news media as a future NBA superstar. He was a prep-to-pro player, and was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall selection in the 2003 NBA draft. In 2004, he was named the NBA Rookie of the Year he soon established himself as one of the top league athletes, winning both the NBA MVP award in both 2009 and 2010. James was not able to secure a title with Cleveland and was released as a "free agent" in the year 2010. This decision was made by the television show The Decision.
